Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania

Founded in 1998, the Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Eastern Bluebirds and other native cavity nesting birds. Their mission is to educate the public about the importance of these species to our ecosystem, and to involve the public in efforts to assist and protect bluebirds and other native species.

Terry and Sandy Gerhart, our store owners, love bluebirds (just ask Sandy how many live mealworms she goes through per week!), and Terry is actively involved in the Bluebird Society of PA as a member of their Board of Directors and as a county coordinator for Berks County.
